Nicole Michaels, MSN, RN, CRR

Director of Patient Outcomes

Nicole Michaels, MSN, RN, CRRN, CNRN, CHCQM, NEA-BC serves as Director of Patient Outcomes at Tucson Rehabilitation Hospital, where she leads care coordination, discharge planning, and patient outcomes initiatives. She partners with interdisciplinary teams to support successful transitions from hospital to home while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation care.

With extensive experience in rehabilitation nursing and healthcare leadership, Nicole is committed to improving clinical outcomes through collaboration, evidence-based care coordination, and continuous quality improvement. Since joining Tucson Rehabilitation Hospital, she has led initiatives to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, enhance discharge planning, improve documentation and regulatory compliance, and support positive patient outcomes.

Nicole earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Organizational Leadership and is board certified in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN), Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN), Healthcare Quality Management (CHCQM), and Advanced Nurse Executive Leadership (NEA-BC).
